Sign Language

Parents with hearing loss also attend Mexican Sign Language (MSL) courses at CORAL. As they live closely with deafness,  Sign Language is their only way of communication. In the case of those children who get diagnosed at an earlier stage (especially the ones living in urban areas), parents and children can attend the classes together. Babies with hearing loss do a different therapy than their parents and are able to develop communication much faster through it.

MSL classes open to the public: the classes are free of charge and are held at the BS Children’s Library and at CORAL office.

MSL classes to CORAL staff: CORAL staff is committed to learning Sign Language, so twice a week we are taught by our teacher Abraham.
